Terry Robinson got a first-hand glance of the $37M redevelopment of the Eagle Farm Racecourse, last weekend.

As you can see from the exclusive photos he took, transformation of the Eagle Farm Racecourse into a world class facility, is well and truly underway.

The new look Eagle Farm infield development will include 400 stables, the world's first major stable complex to be constructed on the infield.

"Many major training centres around the world have stables on course but Eagle Farm will be the leader in positioning the training hub infield", Mr Kahler, General Manager of Brisbane Racing Club said.

"These stabling complexes will be world class, with rooftop viewing platforms, a BBQ hospitality area, 24 hour CCTV security, ultra-modern waste collection and individual private offices with full services and amenities".

Also included in the infield development will be members and public parking for over 1,000 vehicles, and an attractive entry point for racegoers to be welcomed.

"The BRC has undertaken this project with a clear direction to present a pleasant aspect across the course from the two grandstands on race days and landscaping will be a vital component of the infield works".

"From the first row of seats on level one of the grandstands you will be able to look out across the new infield complex and see the jockey's colours in the back straight".

Last year, Brisbane Racing Club approved the development of an $850M Eagle Farm Residential Precinct, Ascot Green, by highly respected property group Mirvac. This is expected to be completed in a couple of years, however, purchases of apartments can now be made off the plan, for those who wish to experience the thrill of horseracing, right at their back door.
