Grandview Stud Stallion Parade & Open Day Wrap-Up!

Written on the 8 September 2017

It was a successful morning at the Grandview Stud Stallion Parade and Open Day with the largest turn out the farm has received to date. A testament to the quality of stallions the farm is serving and excitement over the new addition, Under the Louvre. Farm owner, Michael Grieve was master of ceremonies, introducing the stallions as they were paraded.

Terry Robinson and some of the team at Team Thoroughbreds enjoyed the picturesque property along with the viewing of Whittington, Jet Spur and newly acquired Under the Louvre. The team were also keen to see one of their own horses, Unencumbered x Absolute Harmony, who will be ready for syndication shortly.

Everyone was excited to see the freshman sire, Under the Louvre who was magnificently turned out on the day - a real athletic specimen. Qld and interstate breeders are very excited about his prospects.

The powerfully built Whittington, sure turned on a show as you'll see from the photo below. He impressed with his physique and powerful strength. It was great to see some of his progeny as well.

Jet Spur also looked in fantastic form with his beautiful chestnet coat; a real eye-catcher. The 2015 champion sire has had several wininers within the last week and by the looks of it there will be plenty more to come.

(Top three photos courtesty of Grandview Stud (Mare & foal, foal and some of those who turned up), the next photo is of Unencumbered by Absolute Harmony, who will be ready for syndication shortly. The next two photos are Jet Spur, the two below him are Whittington, then we have two of Under the Louvre.)
