All Hands On Deck For Gollan Move!

Written on the 12 May 2017

It's official... Queensland's leading trainer, Tony Gollan is now all moved into the infield stables at Eagle Farm.

It's been a well anticipated move for the Gollan team who have been patiently awaiting the time to move everything over to the newly built infield stables at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

For the past two years, Tony Gollan has been sharing space with developers.

"I'm really looking forward to moving into the new stables," Gollan said two months ago.

"I'm actually a bit excited about what lies ahead in Queensland right now. I think we are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Racing can only go up from where we've been.

"I have a bit of faith in the guys at the head of the table now.

"I've invested in Queensland and I naturally want to see it work here."

It was all hands on deck to shift all the horses, tack, feed and office items yesterday to the new premises. Some staff worked from 2.30am and were still going at 5pm. The Gollan team were appreciative of the hard work everyone put in to make it happen so quickly and effortlessly as a team.

It's reported the horses are very happy in their new environment. And why wouldn't they be, with the stables being top quality and brand spanking new.

Tony Gollan and his team will be sharing the new complex with owners and friends at an upcoming open day with details to be announced in due course.

In the meantime, here's some photos Gollan Racing posted on their Facebook page.
